Welcome to SynProt
The SynProt database is dedicated to synaptic proteins and primarily based on data obtained from twelve proteomics screens (see references) on PSD synaptic protein preparations. In addition well-known players of the PSD, which were not identified by proteomics, have been included. Currently the database contains more than 2500 non-redundant entries of rat, mouse and human proteins.To search for proteins and to contribute to the pool of PSD proteins in this database, please register (free for academic users).
